Chalmers University of Technology

Marco Adelfio, Assoc Professor in Applied Urbanism.
Marco has a background in both urban design and human geography. He has extensive experience from national and EU research projects and specializes in more-than-human design, participatory architecture, and transdisciplinary work with underrepresented societal groups.

Liane Thuvander, Professor in Architecture and Sustainable Building.
Liane is Professor in Architecture and Sustainable Building with a research focus on methods for spatial value mapping and visualization. Much of her work takes place in interdisciplinary settings where she combines action research with co-creation of knowledge, and she is research leader at Sweden’s national competence centre Digital Twin Cities Centre.

Shea Hagy, project manager, teacher and researcher with a MSc in Design for Sustainable Development.
Shea has long experience in project management in the building sector, leading the design and construction of green buildings and is a LEED AP. He has led sustainable building projects worldwide, managed the creation of the HSB Living Lab and Chalmers’ Solar Decathlon China entry, and founded DARE to Build, a cross-disciplinary design-build course at Chalmers.

City of Gothenburg

Cecilia HelsingPlanning manager for Place development in the early stages, Urban Environment administration, Department of Outdoor Environments and urban Life.
Cecilia has long experience from place-building and prototyping projects such as the Transition Lab, Flytevi, Näsan i blöt, and Jubilee Park, with a strong focus on co-creation and resilience in urban transformation.

Malin Finlöf, Urban planner, Urban Environment administration, Department of Outdoor Environments and urban Life.
Malin is an urban planner with deep experience in the place building method, developed in Gothenburg since 2013. A method that emphasizes stepwise development where small-scale actions, testing, and prototyping lead to knowledge and give deeper understanding in the planning process and public space. Malin is currently project leader for the new skate area in Frihamnen.

MARELD

David Gough, Landscape Architect.
David has more than 20 years’ experience working on complex public space projects, multi-disciplinary design processes and sustainable regeneration initiatives and drivers for the successful implementation of major project works including the design and delivery of Jubileumsparken in Frihamnen, Gothenburg. He also founded Mölndal Skateboard Club, a grassroots initiative that has built a thriving skateboarding community through co-created, user-driven processes.

Charlotte Sellbrandt, Landscape Architect.
Charlotte comes with experience from both public and private sectors in Sweden and Denmark. She has worked on projects ranging from design competitions to complex participatory processes, including the Jubileumsparken in Frihamnen. Her background includes leading numerous workshops and dialogue-based projects, such as Säterietparken in Mölnlycke and Rymdtorget in Bergsjön.
